The Champion Institute of Real Estate, Maryland’s premier real estate school, has been approved by the Department of Higher Education and the Maryland Real Estate Commission to offer real estate pre-licensing classes since 1987. During this tenure, approximately 8,000 students have taken advantage of the high quality real estate education offered by the Institute.

The path to a real estate career begins with a 60-hour pre-licensing class offered by a Maryland approved provider.

After passing the Maryland Licensing Exam, the candidate for a real estate Salesperson’s license must provide proof of affiliation with a Broker to the Maryland Real Estate Commission in order to be eligible for licensure.

Real estate training doesn’t end there! A licensee must complete fifteen hours of continuing education biennially for license renewal. The Champion Institute of Real Estate offers monthly classroom and on-line continuing education to all licensees, regardless of affiliation.
